Wentworth By The Sea Marriott New Hampshire Wedding

Emily and Colin :: Wentworth By The Sea

Emily and Colin had a beautiful, interfaith wedding day at The Wentworth by the Sea Marriott in New Castle, New Hampshire. Emily wanted to incorporate some of her family's Jewish traditions, while Colin felt it was important to have a priest to share the duties during the ceremony. They were married under a Huppah by both a Rabbi and Priest. They celebrated on the dance floor with the Hora, which always makes for really fun photos.

Emily's 90 year old grandmother had the best reaction of the day - she melted into tears when she saw Emily in her wedding dress for the first time. She kept telling me how happy and proud she was of Emily. It's moments like these that make a wedding day even more special.

After having their first look down on the dock, Emily and Colin gave me close to an hour to photograph their portraits. We were able to spend time photographing the lovely couple down on the dock, then leisurely walk around Wentworth By The Sea's gorgeously manicured grounds. I often remind clients that relaxed portrait sessions make for beautiful photos.

{the client experience}

I did countless hours of research and created a complicated spreadsheet when looking for my wedding photographer, and luckily this led me to Lindsay Flanagan. We first met over our engagement session, where she made us feel so comfortable, as if we had known her for years. On the wedding day Lindsay and her assistant were on time and professional. They made sure to get all of the shots we asked for as well as the ones she recommended without having us miss any key moments of our wedding day. Now, onto the pictures. Our families and friends all said that our engagement and wedding photos were the most beautiful photos they had ever seen. They so perfectly captured our emotions throughout the day. They are light, ethereal, and fun, which is exactly what I had wanted. We just got our wedding album and I am reliving how I felt on our wedding day all over again, and I have Lindsay to thank for that. She is the best investment you will make.
