Same Sex Wedding

Peter and Ian :: The Multicultural Arts Center, Cambridge, MA

On their wedding day, Ian continually apologized for being so emotional. What's wrong with being emotional on one of the most important days of your life? Absolutely nothing. I assured him that he shouldn't hold back and that the photos would be even more amazing because of his openness and trust.

Peter and Ian included a long standing family tradition into their wedding day - a Chinese tea ceremony. Here they honor their families by serving them tea, and in turn the grooms are honored by being accepted into their new families.

Peter and Ian expressed to me how important their friends and family are to them. Their wedding was meaningful, not only because they were starting their lives together, but also because they were able to celebrate with the people who mean the most and have supported them through their journey together.

I was thrilled and honored that Peter and Ian asked me to be there to capture their beautiful, and emotional, wedding day.

{the client experience}

Lindsay was the consummate professional and showed great taste from start to finish. We wanted a documentary style of photography for our wedding and Lindsay delivered beyond our expectations. Our families have not stopped raving about the wedding pictures that Lindsay took. We feel lucky to have had Lindsay record our wedding day and are excited to share her pictures with our family and friends for years to come.
