Amy and Alicia were married on a beautiful winter day at The Wolfeboro Inn in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. The Wolfeboro Inn is nestled alongside Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. I've photographed at this venue many times, but never in the middle of winter. The clouds covered the blue sky, and the snow was piled high a top the grass and it was still as beautiful as ever. I began the day by photographing Amy and Alicia, who even though they were wearing the same amazing "bride" socks, got ready in separate rooms, Mom's by their sides. Both Amy and Alicia wore Justin Alexander dresses, complete with Converse sneakers. Alicia wore Luxa Jewelry and Amy wore jewelry handed down from her grandmother.
Amy and Alicia wanted to do a First Look, where they see each other for the first time before the actual ceremony. We used the ceremony space in the lobby of The Wolfeboro Inn for their first look, and spent a little bit of time photographing portraits right afterwards.
The Wolfeboro Inn usually holds the wedding ceremony outdoors near their gazebo, but in the winter, it's way too cold and snowy outside, so they use their beautiful lobby, complete with a huge stone fireplace instead.
A few more quick portraits of the gorgeous newlyweds!
Alicia's super talented Aunt Doreen of Countryside Florals helped the couple create the beautiful, rustic decor. The cake and cupcakes were from Stellaloona Bakery in Wolfeboro. After Amy and Alicia's first dance, the couple and their guests danced the night away with music from Chris at Party Time Productions.
Congratulations Amy and Alicia! Wishing you many many years of love and laughter together!
