Alice and Erik were married this summer at East Congregational Church in Milton, Massachusetts, with their reception following at The Villa at the Ridder Country Club in East Bridgewater. They started their day with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at the hotel where they got ready. Erik and his groomsmen had to sing and do some push ups to get the bridesmaids to open the door to Alice's room!
After the tea ceremony, and after Erik left for the church, Alice changed into her western wedding dress and headed over to the church herself. Their ceremony at the church was beautiful, and included a song by Alice's friend, as well as some tears from Alice during that song. After their kiss, Alice and Erik walked back down the aisle surrounded by bubbles!
Alice and Erik entered the room at The Villa at Ridder Country Club and began their first dance together. There were a lot of traditions incorporated into their reception, including the bouquet and garter toss. The best part was that Erik's younger brother was the one to catch the garter, which led to the priceless second to last photo here!
Congratulations Alice and Erik! I had a blast photographing your amazing wedding day!
