Amy and Chris were married on September 6th with a ceremony and reception at Tupper Manor.
I love this couple! Not only do they truly love each other, but they also know how to have fun together, as I found out when I got to do their “Day in the Life” engagement session this summer. They didn't mind hoping in front of the camera in bathrobes to brush their teeth!
I started by photographing Amy while she put on her dress at the venue and then we were off to do their first look and portraits. By the way, how amazing are the flowers by Les Fleurs? If you're looking for a florist, definitely stop by their shop and talk to Kerianne!
After the first look, we headed down to the beach for some more portraits. Little did we know that it would be swarming with students from Endicott College who were there celebrating the Labor Day holiday. So the moment we stepped out onto the beach, the entire crowd of partying college students roared with cheers! Amy and Chris were overwhelmed by the reaction when suddenly, they were surrounded by a cheering crowd—it was a fun and unexpected group photo!
Tupper Manor has a very beautiful room with a pool table, and Amy and her Dad decided to play before the ceremony.
Amy had promised before the ceremony that she would be emotional and cry several times, and she kept that promise! During the vows, she could hardly keep it together. On top of that, the officiant was her mom, Diane, and the whole ceremony was touching and beautiful!
Amy and Chris had special cupcakes to go along with their cake with their favorite football team logos on the top! After the cake cutting, they shared their favorite team with the guests, and Amy’s guests booed Chris’ choice, while Chris’ friends booed Amy’s choice.
Chris totally surprised me on the dance floor! He was dancing all night long and even jumped right in when some of his friends busted out the old double Dutch jump rope move!
Thank you again, Amy & Chris, for allowing me to be part of this magnificent day! I truly enjoyed capturing you and your friends and family celebrate together. Congratulations to you both!
