Rachel and Danny were married at The Riverview in Simsbury, Connecticut this May. They had a beautiful day, surrounded by so much love and emotion. It was a photographer's dream come true! They incorporated some of their Jewish traditions into the day, as well as some gorgeous, classic details.

I mentioned all of the emotion shown during the day already and the photo below is a great example. I love Rachel's Mom's reaction when she sees Rachel in her dress for the first time.
Rachel and Danny decided to do a first look. This is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time before the ceremony. A first look gives the bride and groom time to do all of their portraits beforehand so they can immediately join the party after the ceremony!
How amazing is Rachel's one shoulder dress? Love this lacy detail!
Rachel and Danny signed the Ketubah before the ceremony, which was one of many Jewish traditions they honored during their wedding day. I love quiet moments like these where only the bride's and groom's closest friends and relatives are surrounding them and supporting them to witness this beautiful part of the day.
Then Rachel and Danny left each others sides so that Rachel could take part in the time honored tradition of the Tisch. Here Rachel is celebrated by her friends and family while she waits for Danny to come to her.
Danny's friends and family marched down the hall, singing and clapping, to bring Danny to his bride.
Finally, they were off to begin the traditional wedding ceremony under the Huppah...
One final and super fun Jewish tradition, the Hora, had everyone dancing and laughing.
Congratulations to Rachel and Danny! Thank you for asking me to be part of your amazing wedding day!
