Colleen and Gerry were married at the rustic Rockywold Deephaven Camps in Holderness, New Hampshire. I absolutely love this venue! When you arrive, you drive down a long and winding dirt road, then suddenly you're there - back, reliving summer camp of your childhood memories. Guests are out hiking, kayaking on the lake, sitting on the docks and even grabbing waffles at the on-site dining hall. Rockywold Deephaven has games and competitions that campers can take part in during their visit, or you can just sit back and relax, and enjoy a book on a covered porch. Either way, you get to escape reality for a bit. Colleen's family has a long standing tradition of vacationing at Rockywold Deephaven each summer, so when it was time to get married, she knew exactly where to look. The camp did not disappoint! You can't even tell that we had a rain spell in the middle of the day, just before their gorgeous, rustic outdoor ceremony.
Thanks to Lindsey Eaton who helped plan this gorgeous wedding and for connecting me with Colleen and Gerry.
Colleen hand painted the C+G wooden signs that were displayed throughout the camp and wore a Modern Trousseau wedding dress. The detail on the back of the dress is stunning!
Linda Pare at Mountain Laurel Florists in Ashland, NH created the most amazing bridal bouquet.
When Colleen saw Gerry during their first look, she couldn't wait any longer to give him a hug so she ran the rest of the way up the path!
Again, the flowers from Mountain Laurel Florists were absolutely amazing!
It's so much fun to sneak the bride and groom out of the wedding reception for 5 extra minutes during sunset or just afterwards to take a few more beautiful, night time portraits.
Congratulations Colleen and Gerry! Thank you for asking me to be part of your beautiful wedding day!
