Melissa and Laura are two very special people. I met up with them at the Boston University campus (which is oddly quiet during the summer months) for their engagement session. I asked Melissa to write a little something about how they met. Here's what she said:
"Laura and I first met as freshman at Boston University in the spring of 2009. Over the years we became friends and eventually ended up living on opposite ends of Bay State Road; a quiet street lined with traditional New England brownstones converted into dormitories, and in my opinion one of the most beautiful places on campus. When I think about college, I think about the days I spent walking down that street to spend time with Laura between classes. It's pretty remarkable that in a school of over 30,000 students Laura and I even met each other. We didn't share any classes or extracurricular activities, but we happened to meet through some friends we had in common. We quickly became friends on our own, and then more than friends! BU's campus was the setting for the very beginning of our relationship, and it seemed a fitting place to celebrate the beginning of our marriage."
Congratulations Melissa and Laura! I can't wait to be there to capture your wedding day this fall at the Commanders Mansion! xoxo
